📣 Offering Acupuncture, Chiropractic, and Pelvic Floor PT + "Body, I Love You" Coaching Container Starts Jan. 15th!

Happy New Year! I love the start of the New Year. I get excited about all kinds of projects I want to take on, but there's a reason why I can burnout quickly, and I know that I'm not alone. January falls right in the middle of winter. Winter is our hibernation time and in Chinese Medicine we refer to winter as the time when yin energy is at it's fullest. Yin represents rest, turning inward, creativity, slowing down. Winter is the most yin time of year, like nighttime is the most yin time in our 24-hour diurnal rhythm. When we attune our bodies and minds to the natural cycles of nature, we can tap into nature's inherent energy to support our health and our endeavors. To keep from burning out, I am reminding myself that we still have two more months of winter, which means two more months of (relative) hibernation and slowing down before the natural energizing pull of spring arrives. My personal theme for this winter is "integration", so rather than starting new projects, I am focusing on deepening and completing projects and just taking time for myself.

Two years ago I shared that my theme for the year was "team" and today I am introducing the three amazing practitioners who have joined me in at my new clinic! While we are all independent practitioners with our own practices, we have the team spirit - brainstorming challenging cases, referring patients to each other and supporting each other in business and in life. I have dreamt of this moment and it is here. It's time to celebrate! In the next month I will be announcing a date for our open house, I hope that you can join us. 🎉

I am also super excited to share a very important 6-week course led by my colleague Sydney Robilotta, details below. I highlighted Sydney and Ilana Ingber's course for girls about their periods a couple months ago and now Sydney is launching her "Body, I Love You" course starting January 25th. If you are struggling to love your body the way it is right now, please take a peak at Sydney's course. She is powerful, and I know that her course will be too.

Practitioners at Arrive

If it's been a while since we connected, allow me to reintroduce myself. I founded Arrive Reproductive Medicine as a unique acupuncture practice for women. I weave together lab testing and elements of functional medicine with the time-tested modalities of Chinese Medicine to support fertility, period problems and hormone imbalance. I'm so excited to be sharing space with three other phenomenal women's health practitioners and advocates. I have personally been treated by all these women and can't recommend them highly enough.

Laura Barnum, D.C.

Dr. Laura is our amazing resident chiropractor. Specializing in women's wellness, not only is Laura's positive energy infectious, she is so skilled at her work. Through all ages and stages, chiropractic care can be invaluable for natural pain relief, mobility, and injury prevention. For all you pregnant folks, Dr. Laura is also trained in the Webster Technique which can be very supportive during pregnancy.

Rachel Farber, D.A.O.M., L.AC.

Dr. Rachel Farber's acupuncture practice specializes in women's health and Rachel will often see my patients when I am on vacation. Not only does she offer expert acupuncture treatments and herbal recommendations, she is an experienced massage therapist, craniosacral bodyworker, and yoga teacher.

Amelia Foster, D.P.T.

Amelia Foster is a wonderful pelvic floor and orthopedic physical therapist. She works with people of all ages and genders to treat pelvic floor and orthopedic conditions with an integrative and whole-body approach. Her warmth, passion, and skill make her a truly invaluable provider.

Dr. Amelia is currently pausing care while on maternity leave, but Dr. Katie Milano is covering patients during this time. Katie is a wealth of knowledge and, like Amelia, is a warm and welcoming provider.

Five Branches Interns in the Clinic

Three wonderful acupuncture students will be joining me in the clinic from the local acupuncture school, Five Branches University. They're eager to shadow client consultations and treatments. As such, if you receive treatments on Wednesday afternoons or Fridays I'll be checking in with you about your comfort levels with one of them being in attendance. Of course, you are more than welcome to ask for privacy.

6 Week Virtual Series Starting January 25th - "Body, I Love You" with Coach Sydney Robilotta

Sydney Robilotta is up to something powerful and so important. Her signature course, "Body, I Love You" (aka "BILY") involves meeting live with two trained BILY coaches, and a small group of other women, once a week for 6 weeks, in guiding you to intentionally and actively love your body. PLEASE check out Sydney's website, her mission is so heartfelt, I know you will feel it too, and you can reach out to Sydney to schedule a call if you have any questions about her course or working with her privately. Thank you Sydney!

Happy New Year!

Warmly,

Anne
